COWICHAN OUTDOOR GROUP
The COWICHAN OUTDOOR GROUP is an informal group of people who meet regularly for hikes, walks and other outdoor activities. Newcomers and drop in hikers are welcome. 

   
When 

We hike every Sunday Sunday  with informal hikes often held Thursdays

 

Where

 

 

 

 

We hike a variety of trails from the local Cowichan Valley to other exciting locations all over Southern Vancouver Island ( two or three times a year we arrange weekend hikes at sites such as Mt. Washington or Quadra Island)

 

 

 

   Who

Everyone is welcome. For beginners we also have a "Lite" group whose hikes are generally shorter and easier

  Membership

Membership is open to anyone and non-members are welcome to join the group after three hikes. Membership fees are currently $10.00 p.a. and these fees are primarily intended to cover the cost of producing the schedule.
